Facing Strategy Editing

In the Anaylze phase of CAM Assist, facing operations can be edited.

 

Editing Facing Operations

To edit a Facing operation in the Program view, select the Edit button on the right-hand side of the operation row.

In the drop-down menu, select Edit operation

 

The Edit facing strategy panel will open.

Facing operation edit items

Within the Edit facing strategy panel, there are three controls:

1. Edit the Tool assembly used for the operation
   1. Change Tool assembly used for the operation
   2. Edit the Tool assembly used for the operation
2. Change Setup for the operation (this function may not be available)
3. Change the Tool axis for the operation (this function may not be available)

After editing is complete, select the Apply button to apply changes.  Choose Cancel to abandon edits, and return to the Program operation listing.
