Deburring Strategy Editing

In the Anaylze phase of CAM Assist, deburring operations can be edited. This can be useful for various reasons including:

• Changing the tool assigned to an operation

 

Editing Deburring Operations

To edit an undercut operation in the Program view, select the Edit button on the right-hand side of the operation row.

In the drop-down menu, select Edit operation

 

The Edit finishing strategy panel will open.

Finishing operation edit items

Within the Edit finishing strategy panel, there are the following controls:

1. Edit the Tool assembly used for the operation
   1. Change Tool assembly used for the operation
   2. Edit the Tool assembly used for the operation

After editing is complete, select the Apply button to apply changes.  Choose Cancel to abandon edits, and return to the Program operation listing. Select the lock button to unlock the field.
