Roughing Strategy Editing

In the Anaylze phase of CAM Assist, roughing operations can be edited.

 

Editing Roughing Operations

To edit a Roughing operation in the Program view, select the Edit button on the right-hand side of the operation row.

In the drop-down menu, select Edit operation

 

The Edit roughing strategy panel will open.

Roughing operation edit items

Within the Edit roughing strategy panel, there are three controls:

1. Edit the Tool assembly used for the operation
   1. Change Tool assembly used for the operation
   2. Edit the Tool assembly used for the operation
2. Change Setup for the operation (this function may not be available)
3. Change the Tool axis for the operation (this function may not be available)

After editing is complete, select the Apply button to apply changes.  Choose Cancel to abandon edits, and return to the Program operation listing.
