Overview
With the release of CAM Assist 2.2.0, the cycle time estimation experience has been streamlined and fully integrated into the core CAM Assist workflow.
Rather than existing as a separate tool, cycle time estimation is now accessed directly within CAM Assist, providing a more consistent and reliable experience.
What Has Changed
This update applies to both Mastercam and Fusion integrations.
Cycle time estimation is no longer accessed via a separate top-level feature (CTE). Instead, it is now part of the standard CAM Assist flow.
What’s Improved
- A simpler workflow with no need to switch between tools
- A single source of truth for cycle time estimates within CAM Assist
- Removal of unused or unreliable workflows (such as bulk upload)
- A more consistent experience across CAM environments
Cycle time estimation functionality itself remains available, but is now accessed where users already work.
