If you’re experiencing an issue with CAM Assist, our support team may ask you to share your log files. These logs help us diagnose problems more quickly.
Where to Find Log Files
Log file locations depend on which CAM package you’re using:
Mastercam and NX
C:\ProgramData\CloudNC Ltd\CAM Assist\logsFusion 360
C:\Users\{user-name}\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\API\AddIns\CAMAssist\logsGibbsCAM
C:\ProgramData\CloudNC Ltd\CAM Assist\GibbsCAM\logFolder Structure
The logs will be sorted into folders of day-time this is to help you find the relevant log files generated at the time you experienced the error.
How to Share Log Files
Once you’ve located the relevant log file, you can share it with us in any of the following ways:
Attach the log file to your support form submission
Email the log file to the CAM Assist product support email address
Upload or share the log file directly via the CAM Assist chatbot
If possible, include a brief description of the issue you were experiencing and when it occurred—this helps us pinpoint the problem faster.
