To select components in Select Avoidance Geometry, please follow the steps below:
- Add the component as Workholding in the Machine Group within Mastercam.
- Once in the CAM Assist UI, under Prepare, you will see all components added under Select Workholding.
- Since a component cannot be defined as both Workholding and Avoidance Geometry, deselect the components you wish to use for avoidance from the Select Workholding.
- After deselecting, reselect those same components as Avoidance Geometry.
If any components become hidden during the selection process, click the eye icon in the bottom-right corner to make them visible again.
