How can I use CAM Assist for nesting?

CAM Assist does not specifically account for nesting in the way traditional CAM packages do, but there are two way that nesting methodologies can be achieved with CAM Assist.

The first involves selecting all parts designated for the "master model" or "workpiece," subsequently ensuring their containment within a single piece of stock. This approach optimizes CAM Assist's performance by processing all parts operation by operation with maximum efficiency.

The second method entails machining a single part enveloped within one piece of stock material, scaled relative to the part's dimensions, and then transforming multiple toolpaths for each subsequent part. The specific implementation of this process will vary depending on the CAM package utilized.
