How do I select my machining directions for 3+2 operations?

Here are the steps to select machining directions for 3+2 operations:

1. In the Prepare phase, select Mode
2. Select User Defined
3. Click on the button: "Select Machining Direction" in the Prepare window.
4. Select flat solid faces that are normal to the machining plane direction that you wish to machine from.
5. You may select as many directions as required. Faces do not need to be on the part. They may also be selected on the fixturing, stock, or avoidance geometry,  
6. Click "Confirm" at the top of the window.
