How do I fix unmachinable errors?
If CAM Assist reports an unmachinable error, try the following troubleshooting steps:
- Reposition the part, if possible, to improve tool access.
- If repositioning is not possible, resolve the issue outside of CAM Assist before regenerating the toolpath.
Common causes of unmachinable surface issues
An unmachinable surface may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Setup models are blocking access to machinable surfaces.
- No available tool can fully machine the surface feature.
- The model contains a feature that is not currently supported by CAM Assist.
