How do I recognize tapped holes with CAM Assist?
CAM Assist will recognize a threaded hole only if the following two conditions are met:
- The hole diameter must be within minus 0.05mm to plus 0.1mm of the minor diameter for a 75% thread of the size and pitch that you wish to tap.
- Activate tapping in CAM Assist:
- During the Prepare phase, enter Advanced mode by clicking on the toggle switch at the top of the window.
- Click on the Parameters tab.
- Check the box next to Basic Tapping.
