What is Advanced mode?
Advanced mode in CAM Assist likely refers to an optional mode or set of settings that expose more detailed control and cutting-edge features for experienced users. CloudNC’s interface has an Advanced tab where you can toggle preview features and fine-tune parameters. “Advanced mode” could mean that you have enabled those advanced (perhaps experimental or expert-level) options. For example, Next Generation Roughing was under Advanced > Preview Features, or settings like maximum corner radius, undercuts, advanced freeform – these are in an Advanced section. So turning on Advanced mode might allow the use of those advanced strategies or parameters.
