This article outlines how CAM Assist Setups map to CAM package integration workflows
CAM Assist uses Setups to define how a part, stock, fixtures and other bodies are orientated and configured for machining.
Setups contain:
- A definition of the model (part) body
- A definition of the stock body
- A definition of the fixture bodies associated with the setup
Setups generally are associated with equivalent processes in the CAM software. Here is a breakdown of the associated processes:
