Machine configurations are stored and managed in My Machines.
The machine parameters in CAM Assist help to calculate the feeds and speeds generated by CloudNC AI.
At installation, there are a number of generic machines available to get you started, however for an optimal experience, CloudNC recommends you configure the machines you have in your factory/shop.
To open My Machines, go to My Shop
The My Machines view lists all machines available, including in session, CloudNC maintained and user-created machines.
In My Machines, the following selections are available:
- Search machines - Search by machine name
- Filter by manufacturer - Quick filtering of machine list by manufacturer
- Add machine button - Add a new machine to CAM Assist from scratch
Add a machine for each machine in your shop and you will be able to select between them easily and apply the appropriate parameters when using CAM Assist.
Machines Table
- The machines table presents an ordered list of machines that match any search terms and manufacturer filters
- Select - Shows which machine is selected for use by CAM Assist
- Favorite - Indicates that the machine has been favorited and will appear in the Prepare stage menu
- Manufacturer - Name of the manufacturer

Model - Manufacturer’s model name shown in the Prepare stage menu.
The machine model name must be unique - Spindle speed - Minimum and maximum spindle speeds of the machine
- Spindle power - Maximum spindle power of the machine

Machine table row options
- Select - Select the machine for use by CAM Assist
- Edit - Edit machine properties, only enabled for custom machines
- Duplicate - Make a copy of the machine ready for editing
- Remove - Remove the machine from cloud storage, only enabled for user-defined machines
